We have created & keep individual: status, wealth &/or power...

We are all a few unexpected 'happenings' away from facing homelessness.

The additional privilege of a support system who may be able to help, is not a given.

The idea that government or organisational supports will provide solution, is not a given.

One relationship ending

One death of a partner

One illness or injury

One job loss

One home loss with impeded ability or opportunity to find another

One natural disaster

One change in the economic climate

One pandemic

One civil or global war

(The list of possibilities is long)

Each of us face these risks by being human & being alive.

Majority of us are susceptible to unfavourable consequences in meeting them.

Through conversation I'd like to erase fictitious pedastles created & held by entitled perceptions. By doing so move to erase the behaviour of looking down upon those in such experiences as homelessness - knowing that, regardless of choice, it is a lottery we may unluckily win one day.

I'd also like to give & raise funds to support those within such experiences have access to services that are a basic human right.

I’m keeping my kit on for The Sudsy Challenge!

I'm not changing my clothes for three days to help change the lives of people experiencing homelessness.

This September, I'll be taking on The Sudsy Challenge to raise funds and awareness for Orange Sky - an organisation providing access to free laundry, warm showers and genuine conversation.
